This is a must-visit Ryokan for all solo travelers, with the added bonus of being located very close to the train station. the rooms are spacious, with beautiful views of the traditional gardens. the warm hospitality of the staff is very welcoming, and the traditional Kaiseki dinner and breakfast served in the dining area is a real treat. the private bathroom is well-equipped and spotlessly clean.
A few areas in the Ryokan need better air conditioning and deep cleaning to provide a more exquisite experience.

The location of the hotel is excellent, being very close to the train station and convenient for exploring the surrounding area. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, ensuring a comfortable stay. The room is well-kept and the tatami flooring adds to the traditional Japanese experience. The breakfast served at the hotel is amazing, with a variety of delicious Japanese dishes to enjoy.
The common bath and shower facilities are a bit small and shabby, which could be improved for a more comfortable experience.

We spent Xmas at a traditional Japanese inn and really enjoyed it. One of the highlights was the warm welcome we received from the staff, who provided us with useful information about the area. The complimentary tourist pamphlets and maps came in handy for exploring the beautiful local scenery. We also appreciated the delicious breakfast that was included in our stay, with one vegetarian option available upon request. Plus, the cozy and traditional atmosphere of the inn made for a unique and authentic experience.
There were some drawbacks to our stay. The room we stayed in was not very spacious and lacked certain amenities, which made the price of our stay seem a little high.

We loved our stay here! The hotel's location is perfect, as it's very close to the train station. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the manager who spoke excellent English and gave us lots of great recommendations for things to do in the area. The hotel facilities were fantastic, with a stunning Japanese garden we could enjoy from our room. Also, the breakfast was one of the best we had during our entire trip.
Nothing, no complaints at all about this hotel. It was a great stay!

We had an authentic Japanese experience at the traditional lodging we stayed in. The establishment's staff provided great tourist information and made us feel welcome. the location was excellent with easy access to the train station and walking trails for outdoor enthusiasts.
The communal washrooms and bath facilities had small and shabby areas which made us uncomfortable. the meal service was not up-to-standard, as the breakfast portions were small, and we had to pay extra for coffee.
